Principal's Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Silver Springs Elementary. At Silver Springs, we believe in creating an environment where all are embraced, valued, and know that they are welcome. We are proud to be the 62nd “The Leader in Me” Lighthouse School and one of the original 14 Leader in Me Legacy Schools in the entire world. Our focus is to integrate Steven Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People into our curriculum to promote leadership among our students. This process of developing leaders empowers students and helps unleash each child’s full potential.

The Silver Springs Staff is an extraordinary team that not only fosters a dynamic culture of leadership but also brings cutting-edge instructional strategies to the table. We're dedicated to laying a solid foundation that ignites a passion for learning and encourages our students to take bold risks and conquer challenges head-on.

In close association with our teachers, Silver Springs Parents are partners in everything we do! From volunteering in the cafeteria, to providing resources our students and staff need to do our best and most important work, our parents walk beside us every step of the way every day. I encourage you to look for ways you can share your talents with our school through our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and Dad’s Club.
