The Engineering Design & Development class at Northville High School competed at the Science and Engineering Design Fair of Metro Detroit on Wednesday (3/15) at Huntington Place. All the teams did a phenomenal job presenting their projects to a range of professional scientists and engineers.
The group of Kaan Atak, Nolan Henige and Michael Scavnicky (pictured below) qualified for the State competition, won 1st place with the US Agency for International Development Science Champion award and won the Air Waste Management Association 1st place award with their Rotating River Trash Collector and Mycelium Filter project.
Please congratulate all of these future engineers on their great achievements!
