Northville High School's robotics team, the Robostangs, are excited to announce they won the Impact Award at the FIRST Robotics Milford District Competition!
The Impact Award is the most prestigious award in FIRST Robotics and is awarded to the team that has the most demonstrated impact on their community over a three year period. The Robostangs won this award for growing K-8 robotics programs in Northville Public Schools and starting the Unified Robotics Program in Michigan in partnership with Special Olympics of Michigan, among other outreach initiatives.
In addition to the Impact Award, the Robostangs ranked 4th out of 38 teams in this very competitive district event and secured a spot at the FIRST Robotics Michigan State Championship.
The Robostangs would like to thank Northville Public Schools, their sponsors, and everyone in the community for their support over the years. Congratulations to the Robostangs students and mentors!
