Hi my name is Ms. Jordan. I am a post-secondary DD teacher at Cooke School and our classroom runs a school store called The Hot Spot. We go out in the community, we do all of the shopping for the supplies that we sell, we make popcorn, we have Nate over here who is making popcorn, yeah. He does all of it, he puts the popcorn in, he scoops it for the customersc, hands it to them and he's doing it right now making some popcorn. We sell different snacks. All the students, they put out all the products, they put price stickers on it, they help people shop for items and they ring them up out at our register out here. We also have greeters that welcome people to The Hot Spot and they say thank you for coming. Why is this an important thing you've incorporated? So with the post-secondary aged kids, we have 18 to 26 year olds, so they are learning life skills like running the register, going out in the community, customer service, putting out all the products, sorting all those things because those are things that they can do for a job when they leave Cooke here.
