Classroom Close-Up: Ms. Robbert, Ridge Wood Classroom Close-Up: Ms. Robbert, Ridge Wood For this Classroom Close-Up we stopped by the gym at Ridge Wood Elementary. Ms. Robbert puts on a school wide competition called Reindeer Games, where the students compete in a variety of relay races. Show Transcript Hi, I'm Nancy Robbert, I teach PE at Ridge Wood Elementary and we are right in the middle of Reindeer Games. So Reindeer Games are during the month of December and we play all different kinds of relay games. The students have a reindeer named, Kindergarten all the way through fifth grade and they work together to earn points for their team. As you come in we're going to be playing one of our games. So come on in. So today we did Reindeer Games and I got to this morning since I signed up for Reindeer Games to help my gym teacher Ms. Robbert, we got to cut out the points, this is how we keep check of the points and I got to cut some of those out and I also got to tape them on here. And I'm on the team Blitzen, so when I go to gym class I get to I get to help contribute points for my team and we play all these fun games and it lasts two and a half weeks which is really fun because I love Reindeer Games. It's one of my favorite times in gym class.
