Show Transcript Hi there. I'm Brandy Rys and this is Math 7 at Hillside. We're working on a thinking task to understand percentages. Come on in. So the students are relating a percent to a proportion. So they have to remember the fact that a percent is out of 100. And they're trying to understand the total number of students that could have taken the survey. We're kind of learning about percentages and percentages of a whole and I really like this lesson today. We were doing kind of like little groups and we have these Uno cards and we pick one out and you just see what group you are in and there's a question and we have to work together in a group and write down on the board and I think it's really fun though because you kind of make new friends and you learn new things and their ideas.
