The students have been learning about Native American tribes and held a trade fair. Show Transcript Hi, welcome. My name is Mrs. Moore, I teach fifth grade at Winchester Elementary School. I teach every subject and we've been learning about the native peoples of the early Americas. Students did a lot of research on Native American tribes and today we're holding our Native American Trade Fair where Native Americans traded for what they needed and wanted. So come on in, welcome. So we worked on the social studies project. So the first one is about like a paper that we write about on the tribe that would choose. And then, the second one is about like something like made from the tribe like artifact made from the tribe, like you could do clay pots, you could do like fire-pits, you could do popcorn if you want food and then yeah and right now we are trading with our items and there's many. I learned about their food and culture and geography where they live, like all about these new amazing Native American tribes and some tribes might have some cool like someone famous like Sacagawea from the Shoshone tribe. Well I like trading and getting like yummy goodies especially the popcorn that I traded. And the writing, I really like reading all the information about all those different tribes.
